Hanukkah begins at Sundown on Thursday, December 7, 2023. It ends at sundown on Friday, December 15, 2023. We are all taking some time to enjoy the holiday with our families. However, when Hanukkah ends, we can enjoy a fun celebration with our Nafshenu community! 

On Friday, December 15, 2023, we ask you to join us in the kitchen at Prince of Peace at 6pm for a Hanukkah cooking lesson with out very own ETTY. She will teach us to make latkes, hummus, and a lovely Israeli salad. Then we can enjoy a meal together while we show off our own skills with out talked about cookoff/bakeoff dishes. 

Please bring a dish that is dairy and something you consider to be a Jewish recipe. We will all sample each other's food and enjoy community and a feast. We will also have dreidels and Hanukkah gilt for a fun, rousing game of dreidel. 

As a special add-on, if you are willing to share your recipes, please email them to Deb at Deborah@nafshenu.org. We will put together a cookbook of all the recipes sampled at the event and send it out electronically to anyone who was there and all of our members. If you want a printed copy, please ask and we can provide one as well. These will be available before the end of the new year.
