At 7pm tonight, Nafshenu has our regular Thursday night Torah study. This week, we take on a long series of laws about different types of sacrifices. Parashat Tzav (Leviticus
chapters 6-8) is a bit repetitive, but there's a sentence in it that sticks out for me:
"An eternal flame shall be kept burning on the altar. It shall never go out." (Lev. 6:4).
