Please Zoom in tonight at 6pm (bit.ly/NafTorah) to join together in welcoming in SHABBAT with candle lighting and kiddush.
Passover is just around the corner, a holiday coming at a time of fighting and worry in the
land of Israel. This week's haftarah speaks of hope in an earlier time of suffering.
In Second Kings, Israel faced a famine. The prophet Elisha told his aides to serve the fresh bread and grain they had just received and not to worry about the finite supply: "God says, 'They'll eat and there will be leftovers.'"
And that's what happened: "And they ate, and there was food left over, just as God said." (II Kings 4:44).
Hope to see you at bit.ly/NafTorah.
