At Nafshenu, we believe that spirituality and worship should be accessible and relevant for everyone - irrespective of a person’s gender identity, sexual orientation or expression.

In honor of national coming out day, we reaffirm our commitment to providing an inclusive, welcoming and safe space for those who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community. To all those who have come out - we are in awe of your bravery. And to all those for whom it has not yet been safe to do so - we stand with you, and the entire LGBTQ+ community, as allies. Love is Love!

Lech L'cha - The Torah on Moving Towards a Better Self

This Friday evening, join us for a special Kabbalat Shabbat as we celebrate inclusion and awareness in honor of National Coming Out Day and the LGBTQ+ community. We'll talk about Parshat Lekh Lekha - from Abraham to gender and sexual identity, the call goes forth to us from God to "come out" from the identity you get to the one you embrace.

When: Friday, October 15th at 6:30 PM

Where: Outdoors at the home of a member of Nafshenu's core team.
