SERVICE & ISRAELI MEAL + POTLUCK

A message from Rabbi David

Please join your Nafshenu friends Friday evening (Feb. 21) for a short Shabbat service and an Israeli dinner + potluck. It's at 6:30pm at Prince of Peace. 

Pearl and I are just back from our Israeli trip and want to share our experiences of volunteering and seeing family in the midst of the war. Many of you sent along messages that I was honored to convey to the Kotel, the Western Wall in Jerusalem.

I'll bring hummus, baba ganoush, falafel and salad. Please bring a side, drink or dessert.

REMEMBERING SLAIN HOSTAGES: This week saw the release of the bodies of an 83-year-old man and 2 brothers, ages 4 and 10 months. We will say "El Malei Rachamim" for the children, Ariel and Kfar Bibas, and for Oded Lifschitz.

Ahead at Nafshenu: PURIM PARTY

We're just over three weeks away from "Jewish Halloween." Purim celebrates the victory of the Jews of the Persian empire over the genocidal plot of Haman. Nafshenu is a community that knows how to have a good time. We proved it last year (see photos below) . Please plan to come for the NAFSHENU PURIM PARTY on Friday, March 14, at Prince of Peace. We'll do our Purim story play and have a potluck Purim/Shabbat dinner.
