DID MOSES GET A RAW DEAL?

This week's Torah portion, V'etchanan (Deuteronomy 3:23-7:11), has Moses explaining why God won't let him enter the Promised Land, despite all the dedication and hard work Moses carried out for 40 years.

Many people say it doesn't seem fair. Moses isn't among them: "You acted up many times, and I was your leader. So God is holding me accountable."

President Harry Truman made a similar point when he said, "The buck stops here."
