Fun and social justice work can happen at the same time. At least that's been my experience when people from the Nafshenu community get together to help feed the hungry in South
Jersey.
This Sunday (Dec. 28), from 11:30am to 1:30pm, we're gathering at Anita and Menashe's house to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. They'll go to needy people served by the Cathedral Kitchen food service program in Camden.
This is something we have done in the past, and it's been a blast. We'll have refreshments and lots of chances to schmooze. SO PLEASE SIGN UP. We ask that you bring a jar of peanut butter, a jar of jelly, and 1-2 loaves of bread. There will be plenty of bags on hand for the sandwiches.
To get a head count (and so you
can get directions), just drop me an email: rebdovid@nafshenu.org. Or call/text me: 248-508-0874
