As you know, the religious community that hosts Nafshenu, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, also operates a nutrition aid program. Its food pantry is the leading private food assistance center in Burlington
County. PLEASE CONSIDER making a donation to help that work continue. Here's a link:

UPCOMING at NAFSHENU
Our weekly Thursday night Zoom Bible Class resumes this week (tomorrow, 7-8pm). It happens that food is the focus of the weekly Torah portion, Sh'mini (Leviticus chapters 9 through 11). Many contemporary Jews struggle to find meaning in the biblical laws on kosher and non-kosher animals, to say nothing of the much-more-stringent rules that the rabbis
added to them. How do our own food issues -- healthy nutrition, calorie-watching, etc. -- compare to Jews' traditional dietary concerns? LET'S TALK!
Here's a link to the Zoom meeting. I will send out a source sheet tomorrow.
